I am told that I have a similar problem, although I believe it is up to me to decide whether it is true. Might even be for the best if it is true, come to think of it; "common sense" is a seriously bizarre concept when dissected. Certainly we are born with certain instincts, but I doubt "common sense" ever comes into play until a certain amount of exposure to human society takes place, and it probably does not count as common sense if it is taught. So, if we are not born with it, and it is not taught, yet most people know it, where does it come from? And who the hell can blame those of us who fail to receive that invisible little wavelength of education, or distrust it like we would narcotics when we have no idea of what their origins might be?
