I thought about making another Top 10 list with VNs I've read or changed opinion on since my last one, but I don't think it would be particularly representative. So hey, why not make a ranking of literally *all* VNs I've ever read? Sounds like fun!
That being said, some of these novels are way too close to one another and hard to differentiate in how I feel about them. So I'm going to be doing this in tiers. I'll still try to sort the VNs in each individual tier from worst to best,

So yeah, after what feels like an eternity since ZTD's PC release, the first two parts of the Zero Escape trilogy are finally catching up and getting PC releases of their own. Or at least together as a bundle.
999 has been revamped and features voice acting and I believe also the new (bad) ending that came in the iOS version?
You know, I recently went back over some of the plots of my favorite visual novels and, uh, with a lot of them if you think about the situation too much it starts getting really depressing.
So for "fun" I felt like summing up their situations in a sentence or two and decided to make a little game: match the VN to the horribly depressing situation! Naturally some of these are pretty big spoilers so I've put the list of represented VNs in a spoiler tag at the bottom. You shouldn't
