Setzer's scars were pretty bad, though. I mean, he's still super pretty underneath, but they're still more than usual. It's kinda weird we don't get female characters with scars, though. I rememebr that the Baldur's Gate II portraits all had a lot of scars, girls included, and they still all looked really good.

And ha, thanks! Although at this point I'm a bit embarrassed by some of the more egregious mistakes that I committed writing that, but I'm still glad I did it and I'm happy I tried to write a mystery thing. I might make it into a novella or novel someday, as I feel this would have turned out much better if I had more space and time to just build up some stuff like characters and secrets, but it was very refreshing to set myself that 7 part limit and write this thing without planning too much ahead.

I probably will play one of the series eventually, actually. I know they're very famous.

I think it'd be easier to count the FF male sex symbols that don't have scars.

Besides Gladio, Basch, and Squall, there's also Seifer, Auron, Setzer - I'm sure there's more that I can't remember. The only ones without a scar are Balthier and Cid Bunansa.

I may disagree about the characters and story, but that is always super subjective, so yeah, I respect your opinion and can spot a well-written article when I see one
