Well, not much I can say other than keep trying to get that license thing worked out for the future. Can't be fun, but what else can you do about it right?

That's weird. Is it just an issue related to you being Canadian and somebody not being able to figure out what the hell's going on? I'd imagine not being a citizen can create a lot of paperwork headaches in unexpected places.

Of course I care! Glad you got it printed. I hate dealing with printers so much it's not funny. So many different types, always out of ink. Bleh.

And you know what? Calling the guy back for an update on the job isn't a bad idea. It shows you're taking initiative, that you want the job, and both of those are good things to demonstrate. Even if you don't get it, follow up calls are rarely a bad thing. Sometimes they can make all the difference in landing a job.

Yep. Can't promise anything yet, but I'll make it happen eventually.

It is Friday and weekends are awesome.

Honestly, I think the medication helped a lot with evening me out so negative things don't get to me as much. And even though I don't have a job right now I have my parents helping to support me so even when my saved money runs out they're going to help me keep paying my few bills. So it's a bit easier to stay positive these days. Plus it just kind of sucks to be negative all of the time so I try not to get too worked up about things I can't control anymore. So long as I have a bed to sleep in, clothes on my back, and food in my belly, I'll just keep chugging along.

We'll both find some work soon.

And I'm sure we'll be able to get back together, it just might take a bit of time because I know leaving hurt her a lot. But we managed four months apart when we were first together and she went back home for the summer, and I did make her fall in love with me literally after our first date (although, to be fair, she did the same to me) so I'll wait as long as it takes and do what it takes to get her back. Thing's just don't feel right without her.

I'm sorry. Even if you don't get this job though, I'm sure something will come up. You just have to keep plowing ahead. I know the feeling because I'm unemployed right now too and I'm struggling to find anything. But finding a job is usually a numbers game. Just keep applying and getting out there and you'll find something. You're a pretty awesome person so I'm sure you'll find something.

I actually have some news of my own that's both good and bad and I haven't really told anyone here yet. I've realized that it was a mistake to leave my wife and I still love her, so we're trying to work things out now. The bad news is she's in Labrador and wary of jumping back in right away so I guess I'm trying to win her back from a few thousand kilometers away. Wish me luck. /fingers crossed
