i've been to new york state quite a few times; i have friends that live in Buffalo. my only experience in NYC itself was a layover at the airport. there were pigeons flying around inside!

it took a lot of time and effort to get out here after spending five years somewhere i didn't want to be. new york city seems like an amazing place to visit but a terrible place to live.

plus working with my best friend on the picturesque waterfront just seems like the way to go.

a necessary evil, but it'll be smooth sailing after the summer's over. i may just stick with the restaurant in the long run.

there's a lot of stress involved, combined with a lot of my co-workers being rather dismissive of my aptitude based solely on my age. there's a long list of pros and cons but thankfully it does break even. i can access youtube, but all i really watch are music videos or people playing video games.

you'd think that, but i much prefer to be active throughout the day. there's only so much internet to browse until you lose interest.

i did that for three months straight...now i have two jobs. :/
