It's pretty awesome you still have them; they were great games that, unfortunately, I sold with my N64. I especially agree about Global Assault, as I could totally play that right now if I still had it. Just load up Alcatraz or the Parliament for some awesome multiplayer mayhem, maybe take over a corner of the map and load it up with upgraded Gun Buddies and Minefields in my Flip-E tank. People will eventually catch on, but until then . . . >: D

The best part, though, was always that, no matter how loud that game got with four people, someone always caught the quiet 'nuke deployed' in the background and panic broke out.
"Whoa, wait . . . did anyone hear tha -- SOMEONE SHOT THE NUKE! RUUUUNNNNN!!"
"I JUST USED MY LAST TELEPORT!!!"
    "WHERE THE HELL IS IT?!"
    "MY GUNBUDDY ARMY, NUUUUUUUUUUU!!"

    So good. ; _;

Did you happen to play World Destruction League? I heard it was like an unofficial third game in the series, but no one I know actually played it.

Vivi22 would appreciate your ire on RE. He has not liked the series since RE4.

    Of course they are.

    That's an interesting first guess.

I think everyone was just tired of listening to people bitch about the game. We actually had to ban a guy for derailing every thread in the XIII forum with talking about how much he hated the game and then insulting everyone who disagreed with him. It was pretty bad the first month after the game debut.

I don't know about that - I don't have many people calling me dull.

Yeah, I have so many projects to work on at the moment that even when I get a lot done in a day I still feel stressed. The list is long.

Reading straight away can definitely result in more grammar mistakes being missed, simply because you're so familiar with the work and what you meant to say that your brain will fill in the gaps for you. That's why I try to get things done well before deadlines.

Thanksgaming III! (Long overdue playthroughs are long overdue)

by Ayen on 11-01-2015 at 01:53 AM
Tomorrow marks the beginning of the third annual Thanksgaming Month hosted by Ayen's Reviews, and the first to be in video format. Thanksgaming is a time of year where we honor the games of yesteryear and those that came out today, and I look forward to sinking my teeth into this year's lineup. Three of which I will be playing for the very first time. It all starts November 4th!

No more updates. Just reviews.

Finally figured trout out and I'll be able to get back into my weekly schedule. Now I have an extra week to get work done.

Catch you guys later.

New Camera, Lousy Mic

by Ayen on 09-30-2015 at 12:08 AM
A few of you know I started doing video reviews of late, and while I got a new camera I'm running into a boat load of problems with it, among other things. Here's a quick video explaining my situation:

Activity will take a hit

by Ayen on 07-23-2015 at 01:00 AM
Last night on the toilet the following thoughts entered my mind: Just give up. You'll never finish a book and you'll never be a published author. So now I have to write a book and get it published to stick it to my inner monologue. Between that and the weekly reviews my posting on here will be cut in half as I want to focus on my writing. I love you guys, but you can be very distracting when people want to be productive.

I'll catch you guys later.

Movie Monday!

by Ayen on 06-23-2015 at 04:52 AM
As evident by this thread I have decided to branch out into cinema. Those who have been following me for a while will know that I already dabble in this medium in the past with my Mario, and Street Fighter reviews, but those were more looking at an adaption from the eyes of a gamer than your casual movie goer, so they may remain as part of my video games section.

Every Monday I'll look at a different movie and post it on my blog before sharing it here. Like my games there's no cutoff
