House Baratheon mod? Game of Thrones?

I heard Game of Thrones is a really violent and gruesome show.

Is that "Oblivion" from the Elder Scroll Series?

No, you were naked. I have no idea why. Maybe I was thinking of food before I sleeps and mostly my foods are naked.

Last night I dreamt that you and I are fighting in a battlefield and you died.

    And I was hungry.

And you kinda went into my stomach.

I guess we are ONE now.

Jon Snow might be hard to write for but I feel he gets better as the series goes on since he is better about tempering his honor with being realistic as well unlike Ned and Robb. Then again he is so damn naive it is painful to watch him.

I would say it is just more fun to write them cause you have to seriously understand where they are coming from to make a choice and that sometimes may lead to some interesting places. Lawful good heroes work best when you open the story with establishing why they hold onto their convictions and then proceed to set up events that challenge that core belief system. The name of the game is making their conviction an admirable trait, which is why well-intentioned extremist are popular villain archetypes.

If you are interested just for the sake of writing here's a link to the wikipedia page outlining some of this stuff.

I'm talking about more of the issue that demons are just as dangerous to their summoners. In traditional summon rituals, apparently you need to be wary of certain traits of demons cause they like to either weasel their way out of their contracts or worse, twist the situation to lead to the summoners demise.

I play too much MegaTen and study some occult stuff from time to time. In traditional magic, demons are not to be smurfed with though there are ways to deal with them which do not include kicking them in the face.

Basically he misses the point of things like demons and the undead. Vampires shouldn't be as strong as freaking demons and he often borrowed from Hollywood interpretations for things like Werewolves and vampires. Joss Whedon I believe even admitted they never bothered researching anything and just made it up as they went along.

Yeah, I've learned the hard way that outlining the story (and actually writing the outline out) is immensely important to getting things done more consistently.

Thanksgaming III! (Long overdue playthroughs are long overdue)

by Ayen on 11-01-2015 at 01:53 AM
Tomorrow marks the beginning of the third annual Thanksgaming Month hosted by Ayen's Reviews, and the first to be in video format. Thanksgaming is a time of year where we honor the games of yesteryear and those that came out today, and I look forward to sinking my teeth into this year's lineup. Three of which I will be playing for the very first time. It all starts November 4th!

New Camera, Lousy Mic

by Ayen on 09-30-2015 at 12:08 AM
A few of you know I started doing video reviews of late, and while I got a new camera I'm running into a boat load of problems with it, among other things. Here's a quick video explaining my situation:

Activity will take a hit

by Ayen on 07-23-2015 at 01:00 AM
Last night on the toilet the following thoughts entered my mind: Just give up. You'll never finish a book and you'll never be a published author. So now I have to write a book and get it published to stick it to my inner monologue. Between that and the weekly reviews my posting on here will be cut in half as I want to focus on my writing. I love you guys, but you can be very distracting when people want to be productive.

I'll catch you guys later.

Movie Monday!

by Ayen on 06-23-2015 at 04:52 AM
As evident by this thread I have decided to branch out into cinema. Those who have been following me for a while will know that I already dabble in this medium in the past with my Mario, and Street Fighter reviews, but those were more looking at an adaption from the eyes of a gamer than your casual movie goer, so they may remain as part of my video games section.

Every Monday I'll look at a different movie and post it on my blog before sharing it here. Like my games there's no cutoff
