As long as you have a USB adapter it should work fine. Genesis games are a little weird since those controllers had the three buttons in a row, but it's not bad.

We just use corded XBox controllers. They work well! I considered getting USB modded NES controllers, but the XBox controllers work for all systems.

At least official game font is official then.

Most fonts suck anyway to be honest. They're hard to do well.

    Don't I know it.

My dad gave away most of the Genesis games. BJ and I hooked up a computer to our TV though, along with some XBox controllers, and downloaded a few hundred emulated games though.

She gets a pistol, but never two.

Her redesign is nice though. Although things can get a bit over the top with how much she gets injured and her sometimes psychotic desire to kill everyone. Her lines when she gets the grenade launcher late in the game are especially terrifying. Mind you, I have a hard time blaming her for wanting to kill all of the bad guys at that point.

You can own or not own whatever ones you want! I'm not a PS3 racist; I have friends who are PS3s!

I have SEGA Masters, SEGA Genesis, SNES, N64, GameCube, XBox360, Wii, and a few handhelds. My grandma gave away my Atari when my mom got me the SNES (I had a lot of games too!) and my dad let his friend "borrow" my PS1 and then he broke it. I was considering getting a PS2 to play Kingdom Hearts though.

He does occasionally pal around with Hercules in Marvel comics.

I'm not super bothered by her drawing a bow quickly and never getting tired. Otherwise you'd play for an hour and she wouldn't be able to hold the bow, and if she drew it like the real thing you'd have her taking forever to draw and line up a shot which would be fine in some games, but not an action game like that.

I'm actually more bothered by the fact that she found some "parts" which she used to turn a makeshift longbow into a recurve. Finding a recurve would be cool, but making one from a trouttier bow using mysterious "parts?" That makes no sense on so many levels my head might explode.

Thanksgaming III! (Long overdue playthroughs are long overdue)

by Ayen on 11-01-2015 at 01:53 AM
Tomorrow marks the beginning of the third annual Thanksgaming Month hosted by Ayen's Reviews, and the first to be in video format. Thanksgaming is a time of year where we honor the games of yesteryear and those that came out today, and I look forward to sinking my teeth into this year's lineup. Three of which I will be playing for the very first time. It all starts November 4th!

It's the final update!

by Ayen on 10-16-2015 at 12:00 AM
No more updates. Just reviews.

Finally figured trout out and I'll be able to get back into my weekly schedule. Now I have an extra week to get work done.

Catch you guys later.

New Camera, Lousy Mic

by Ayen on 09-30-2015 at 12:08 AM
A few of you know I started doing video reviews of late, and while I got a new camera I'm running into a boat load of problems with it, among other things. Here's a quick video explaining my situation:

Activity will take a hit

by Ayen on 07-23-2015 at 01:00 AM
Last night on the toilet the following thoughts entered my mind: Just give up. You'll never finish a book and you'll never be a published author. So now I have to write a book and get it published to stick it to my inner monologue. Between that and the weekly reviews my posting on here will be cut in half as I want to focus on my writing. I love you guys, but you can be very distracting when people want to be productive.

I'll catch you guys later.

Movie Monday!

by Ayen on 06-23-2015 at 04:52 AM
As evident by this thread I have decided to branch out into cinema. Those who have been following me for a while will know that I already dabble in this medium in the past with my Mario, and Street Fighter reviews, but those were more looking at an adaption from the eyes of a gamer than your casual movie goer, so they may remain as part of my video games section.

Every Monday I'll look at a different movie and post it on my blog before sharing it here. Like my games there's no cutoff
