Given your background i can see why you havent been able to date, even if you wanted to.

This is the womans perspective (or mine at least): dating is scary, it brings out the worst in me, then (with the exception of my first boyfriend) the men in question became the biggest jerks in the world. Typical mean bloke stuff like: the cold shoulder, brutal unfeeling coldness as if they never had feelings for me. And dont get me started on my control freak 2nd ex who started psychologically abusing me

I hate those above stereotypes.

I like men who are nice. Just because ive met the worst examples doesnt mean ive lost faith, fortunately radical feminism isnt something i agree with. Heck, sometimes i even take the blokes side

Ive had some bad experiences.

one grey area guy who i broke ties with mere weeks ago
and a few very bad dates
men on dating sites wanting my phone number the second after id met them on there

im happy to hear that you like talking to women as friends. Some men are interested in.....well you know......only. Ive been unfortunate enough to meet some of them.

Im happily single right now, ive been happily single most of my adult life.

I think i can have some interesting chats with you . I think, i already have.

There are things i am secretive about, things on this site that other people can talk freely about, but i cant cos i always get it wrong when i talk about them.

I think maybe, i would be better talking to another woman about certain things, a female moderator on a private feed/message might be best, at first at least. When that pesky new year is over, then i also have this organisation called womenspace who give me a certain amount of therapy, waiting list free (Cos Britain isnt all that wonderful therapy wise either, we may have free healthcare but we have waiting lists that are extremely long, escpecially with mental health services)
