    What slows it down considerably is the research. In sociology, having to constantly cite and reference and analyse...

    I mean, it is fun, don't get me wrong and I love my degree, but it does get too much sometimes. For a 2,000 word essay, I can easily use 25 - 30 separate references. It is painful.

    I can't even comprehend 40,000 words. I'm looking at my dissertation worth 8,500 which is enough to make me cry mercy!

    And people say the Creative Writing course the University of Winchester has is for people with no brains

    I have many friends in the Creative Writing course here, and that brings with it a lot of self-deprecating humor about their job prospects and how they are not a serious/proper course. I say bulltrout. Your thesis, and much of their work, is very powerful, interesting stuff. You should be proud!

    How is it going anyway? How long does the collection and the exegesis have to be?

    I've been off the forums for the past few months though that's more down to University and general forgetfulness than anything else

    I've been back since May though, after I convinced my other half Sam to join up. He's Mr. Carnelian on here. Besides that, two surgeries and a month later I'm still here
