It's one of mine too! I first read it when I was 17, I think, and I wept buckets. I recently read the MaddAddam trilogy and it kind of left a weird taste in my mouth, but apparently people go apetrout over it!

And yeah, for sure. Sometimes I like mindless things as well. Early summer I was reading the Sookie Stackhouse books, but I finally had to stop. xD

Yeah, as I was explaining to my boyfriend (his username is Denmark on here), there are some books that I rate highly on GR (seriously, if you're on there, you should add me!) even though I know they're ~bad~ and some books that I rate low even though they're ~fine literature~.

Basically, I rate books on a curve. Like, a children's book is not going to be rated the same as, say, Margaret Atwood or Gabriel Garcia Marquez or something. There's no comparing Ella Enchanted to 1984, you know? It's apples and oranges.

Speaking of questionable literature, I decided I'm rereading Twilight since I haven't read the series since I was barely 17, and I'm curious what I'd think of it now.
