Oh smurf I forgot about 2-1. As an opening case, it was very weak. Thankfully it did segue into the really rather good 2-2 case, and 2-4 is a great finale. I think Justice for All was just a mixed bag of extremes.

I actually didn't mind 4-3, though it wasn't my favourite. My issue with Apollo Justice was that unlike Justice for All's rollercoaster ride of quality, most of it was 'okay' without being spectacular.

Actually, I've remembered another case which I enjoyed but also disliked: 1-5. Rise from the Ashes. It's just so smurfing loooooooong!

Although I do miss the three day trials, which makes select cases in the first game seem very intense (though they really didn't need to do one for Turnabout Samurai).

Yeah, I have trouble finishing games too. There are quite a few I've started but I just never finished.

Awww, that's too bad you didn't like Chronicles. I agree with you that the graphics weren't that great, but the story and the characters were so good that I quickly got over it. If they do re-release it for the Switch you should play it!

Those are all great games. I really like Twilight Princess too! I haven't finished it yet, but I've seen my dad play through it multiple times. I like it just as much as Ocarina.

I'm still not entirely sure what my least favourite game is. I definitely think Trials and Tribulations and Dual Destinies are in the running for best game though, I agree.

Maybe Justice for All or Apollo Justice for least favourite? I should say though that I don't dislike any of them, and I think they're all good, but both games suffer from shortness and dodgy cases - Turnabout Big Top and Turnabout Corner are not my favourites. Plus Apollo Justice gets into this weird final case where the jury system is changed, then isn't, and it goes a tad sci-fi with the MASON system.

Have you played any of the Miles Edgeworth spin-offs? I've completed the first one, and working my way through the fan translation of the second game. I have to say - they're both rather good!

Awakening is a good introduction to the series, so I hope you like it!

I haven't really ventured much outside of FF and Fire Emblem myself. How many of the Tales games have you played? I've only played Tales of the Abyss myself.

My favorite game ever is Fire Emblem 7. A close second would be Xenoblade Chronicles. What about you?

Have you played the post-Trials and Tribulations games? I've only got Spirit of Justice to play. Any thoughts on your favourite Ace Attorney?

Awakening is a great game. The gameplay is excellent. I found the plot to be weak at parts, but the good characters made up for it. I highly recommend it! I haven't played Fates though.

Yeah, I grew up playing the SNES, Gamecube and N64, so Nintendo was all I knew for awhile. Then I discovered that RPGs are my favorite kind of video game so I got more into the Playstation. What's your favorite video game genre?

Let's see.. I like Fire Emblem (the older ones especially), Zelda, Smash Bros., Mega Man, some Street Fighter. I like to play just a bit of everything really.
I personally own a 3DS, Wii, PS1, PSP and a Gameboy Advance SP. I don't own any of the current gen consoles unfortunately. I've always been a gen or two behind. :P That's fine though. It gives me a chance to enjoy the old classics. Which ones do you have?

My sister also has XIII-2. She never finished it because she didn't like it, but I'll have to play that one too and see how I like it.

What other video game series do you like to play besides FF?

Psst, if I sound harsh or anything, I'm just pretty stubborn and rarely let go of my opinions, but I also really respect yours and it's so nice to finally have some lively discussions in the FF threads!

I didn't quite feel motivated enough to play it since I had seen all the story, but I just borrowed it from my sis so I'll start asap.

Have you played the other two games in the XIII trilogy?
