I wouldn't really call them extremely popular, more just extremely good =P The biggest amount of popularity they got was through the Higurashi anime. Either way I highly recommend both Higurashi and Umineko. They can both be found on Steam. The latter is my favorite work of fiction~

And a question for you! Have you ever played any of the Shin Megami Tensei games? Or Persona at least?

I've only really played the two numbered games, but intend to play the others as well. Out of the two, I like 2 better, though the first one is also excellent. I just love how the second game just turns all the craziness up to eleven and completely decpnsttucts the original game's premise, message, whatever else you wanna call it.

Facorite character is probably Nagito. Though this is a close call with many others, but I think they did a fantastic job with him. I've never really seen a character like him and the direction his character went at times was certainly unexpected!

Never really thought about death scenes, but probably (SPOILER)Chiaki. I like how she faced her death with dignity.

I honestly didn't mind Vaan at all, tbh, and I liked his down-to-earth personality, as well as his role in the plot. I find a lot of people were angry with him not being really the main character, which I personally don't mind at all either.

I also don't think FFXII is as hated as it used to be - at least over here. A lot of our members hold FFXII in high regard!

Yeah, VI is obviously a classic, but for some reason almost everyone in the FF community seems to hate XII. Other than Vaan being annoying (which he absolutely is), I can't fathom why.

So hey there, fellow Danganronpa fan! I see you also have FFVI and XII listed among your favorite FFs. Amazing choices, if I may say so myself
