I have yet to even get the pendant Seems like a pretty useful tool, what does it do exactly? I had found out my BSS was able to break him out of his buff before I got killed by the AoE, so thats what saved me. I also actually blocked with the grass crest shield. Crazy right? Took a lot of damage, but I got the timing for flasking down and it was just a fun fight. 2 hours will be more than enough. If not, then yeah, parry him. I wouldn't be able to take 2 hours of getting constantly killed by him.
Oh right, sorcery makes gwyn... yeah, nearly impossible. You'd have to dodge around and use the moonlight greatsword, which is, again, very doable with the light roll. I was able to beat him with the murakumo and light roll, granted it took about 6 tries and I tried about 3 different weapons, but I did beat him with a weapon with massive startup delay. The MLGS is considerably faster as well. You'd just need to get the dodge timing down (which, by the way, makes you feel like a badass when you do) Just please try a few times before parrying him to death, anticlimatic fights are never fun D: Gwyn is one of my favorite bosses in gaming for a reason, and I just feel like parrying ruins every good thing about him. Anyway, FINALLY kicked artorias's ass solo on my main character after getting smashed into pieces 3 or 4 times in a row. God it was fun. Balder swag sword, you haven't failed me yet. I haven't fought kalameet or manus on any of my characters yet. They scare the piss out of me.
Also, NG+ Artorias won't stop beating me to a bloody pulp.
Yeah, I stopped ninjaflipping a while ago. I don't really miss it though, the fast-roll suits me better. How do you intend to kill gwyn? I'm asking because so many people parry the poor bastard to death and it's not nearly as fun as fighting him the regular way.
Hey, on dark souls, about how light are your characters? Ninja roll, light roll, mid roll, etc. I'm curious to see how viable something would be for you.
Merry Christmas Jow!
Sorry. I have it on PS3.
Definitely agree. Once I realised that, life is less trout. Stand atop the heap and enjoy everything as an experience
Those annual kind of things tend to get a little bit... forced I suppose is a good enough word. It's just about enjoying the time you have together, regardless of the date. Life's special enough itself, no?
I'm happy enough to have friends with whom I can say "alright we're both piss poor let's not get presents and instead just have a drink together." Even if that drink takes place over irc! I'm glad my half-hearted reference made it through, I didn't know whether to commit or not and it was just a little dodgy but full marks apparently.
