Sorry for taking so long, but I've finally taken my turn in TT.

After glancing across the wiki I am reminded about the nature of true runes. It's been a while since I played Suikoden V but I knew the Sun Rune was one and that it was all sorts of smurf-trout-up-able

I don't know where to start. My first memories of Eyes on Final Fantasy are of trying to participate but getting rejected or relegated for not being cool or well-known enough. I spent a long time posting here aimlessly, it wasn't accessible. 41-Inches-Wide started sending me usernotes, which was how I made my first EoFF friend. That was like... four years after I joined. Then Freya befriended me and that's pretty much the only reason EoFF has been any fun and I've stayed here past those early years. There is way too much elitism, and even when I made it onto staff, I couldn't shake the feeling that I wasn't in the cool club. I'm still not there. I have funny anecdotes etc but that's a brief overview for you.

I was thinking more along the lines of Smashing or Quite.
    But that's good too.

I would. How could I not. That would be the best picture ever.
Want to go ahead and guess what my new custom title would have to be?

Haha, the inclusion of Random makes this match especially interesting! Good choice.

A side note to lighten your day: There is a B. Maynard in my NaNoWriMo novel in honour of your participation in the event. Sorry that a bunch of crap came up and interfered with your attempt, but I look forward to next year in the hope it goes smoother.

Other

by Citizen Bleys on 05-08-2017 at 10:51 PM
Been re-sending the Childe Cycle, from whence my sobriquet originates, and am surprised anew by how appropriate it is.

I picked the name Bleys because I thought it was cool, but I have a lot in common with Bleys Ahrens.

Ahrens lives in a universe in which humanity outside of Earth has divided into 3 main "splinter cultures": the mystical Exotics, the militaristic Dorsai, and the fundamentalist Friendlies. He is part of a group called the Others, which are

Wisdom and age

by Citizen Bleys on 02-06-2017 at 11:37 PM
When I was in my 20s, there's a story I loved to tell. It's a true story.

When I was going to college, I moved in with my father. The first big snowstorm of the year, he and I went out to shovel the driveway. My father is an engineer, and he spent quite some time looking over the driveway and the available tools and deciding on the most efficient way to do the job with minimal effort. I, on the other hand, grabbed a shovel and started moving snow.

By the time he

I'm not a religious man, but I've recently discovered that my cat is a Protestant.

I found a dead cardinal on my doorstep.

Wrong

by Citizen Bleys on 04-27-2015 at 03:19 AM
A woman recently asked me, "How do you view lesbian relationships"?

I thought to myself, " Well, this is dangerous, but on the other hand, it's an open-ended question, surely it's safe to answer "

Apparently not

APPARENTLY, this was a question with right and wrong answers

And apparently," 1080p fullscreen " was a wrooooooooonnnnnnnggg answer"

Micturated off

by Citizen Bleys on 04-08-2015 at 02:42 AM
I'm beginning to grow annoyed by people claiming that technology is destroying society. Yes, young people prefer their tablets and phones to "traditional" activities like family diners- but what does this replace? What was the most common thing people did before the internet? smurfing war, that's what. Tech is bringing the internet inti homes, and that is making people interact with others from other countries and philosophies and thereby find out that such is not evil. Yes, we still
