A side question:
My mom's ex-boyfriend was a mechanic and he told me when I was 8 that Toyotas are good reliable cars and that I should never get a Mazda because they are always in need of repairs. would you say that this is generally true?

Thanks! I loved it! We went to Frankfurt to stay with a friend there, and then trained to Munich to spend a few days at Oktoberfest. Coolest festival ever! Only downsides were that the train rides were LONG and the weather was pretty chilly and gloomy while we were there.

I have yet to check into this 100%, but apparently when buying a used car here, there has to be a manditory safety check which costs about 150$ and if there are any issues, I have to have them fixed before the car is allowed on the road again and then I have to pay for the safety check again.
If this is the case you are saving me alot of trouble by having me check this stuff out. I really do appreciate it and I'll do my best to check everything.
