It's fine, but nowhere near as good as DKC2. The gameplay was fun, but I wasn't fond of the change in art direction.

Aside from the beetle races I loved DK64. I have a blast with collectathons, so while most people complained about all the junk they needed to find I was having a great time.

I am saying I didn't like Donkey Kong Country Returns. Not that I outright hated it, but something felt off about the whole thing and I found it frustrating to play a lot of the time. Especially when motion controls were involved. The experience made me worried for Tropical Freeze, but I'm SO glad I gave it a chance anyway.

I've been loving Persona 5 to death man. I can't thank you guys enough for being so kind.

When I played as Tina during the tutorial I thought she'd be a character for you with all her combo throws! I was playing arcade mode again earlier with Ayane but I haven't really learnt many different moves so I'm not that good, and I'm terribly slow with getting on the critical stuns in to the burst and then I can't really juggle so yeah, I suck pretty much. My PS+ sub ends in like 4 weeks, we will have to get some games in before hand.

(SPOILER)ndicates many times the guns in games such as Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 are first made "extremely accurate, based on factory stats and more" then toned down, not just for balancing reasons, but because of "the drive to make guns feel like the ones we've seen in movies." Like shotguns loaded with buckshot: People associate shotguns with powerful, close-range weapons ... So a shotgun blast [in the game] will punch through walls and armor just fine, even though buckshot is known for its lack of penetration in the real world.

    • Sniper Rifles are especially the case for this. One of the earliest sniping games, Silent Scope, gave bonuses for head shots because they were more challenging. This has led to the trope of sniper rifles in games only killing on a head shot - even though real sniper rifles will kill on a shot anywhere above the waist, which is a far preferable shot precisely because aiming at the head has a high chance of missing.

    Is true?

I don't suppose you have Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD on PS3, do you? Going through old game downloads and I forgot I bought it years ago. I remember playing a couple games and hating it and then I deleted it and forgot all about it. Just started playing it now and OMG I've won 2 matches! xD
