Thanks, I know only one place out of all the places I've applied to so far have even sent me a letter thanking me for my interest, the others just ignored me :/ x

It was horrible but they've always had the same health problems at similar times so we kind of knew the second cat was going to go too

Had the interview, it went quite well I'll hear from them by the end of the week if I'm successful also have an 'audition' for a makeup brand counter on wednesday, and a pub near me is apparently losing a lot of people who are going to uni so I'll give them my CV x

Awww that sounds adorable, I'm so sad she had to be put down I lost two of my cats in about 4 months this year to cancer, they both had to be put down but we never had to see them in pain, that must have been awful

I know this won't make you feel any better but I thought I'd share that I have a job interview on Saturday, I gave out a tonne of CVs in my local shopping centre hoping for xmas work, this is for an evening and a weekend day a week so it's not much but hopefully I get the job and it'll be something

Yeah. I think I need to go on the websites for some restaurants, see who's recruiting. I'm not sure if I want to work in a restaurant, but it's a job and money and while it would be stressful when it's busy I like the idea of getting a lot of tips lol. I want to save a lot of the money I earn so I'm ideally looking for anything that pays a lot for where I am experience and age-wise, like the rest of the world :P x

Ooh that's a good idea, thank you I think I'll try that well I've given my CV to a couple of agencies/careers advice places and they've all said my CV looks fine, nothing they'd change. I think it's cause of the recession, people can be pickier about who they employ because there's so many people after the job. But thank you Nah the job wasn't as bad as the asda one, that sounds awful. It was constantly presenting the same stuff to people, and not only would it be boring but I'd spend my entire life stressed and nervous, not my idea of a satisfactory job lol. I realised today I should've taken my CV to the Harvester cause I was there with some friends, but it only occured to me once we were there so I didn't have my CV. But I might end up going back and giving it to them, as it's not that far from where I live x

Lol sounds...fun? XD well you can't really tell that from a CV, apparently I'm not qualified enough to carry plates :S so I don't get a call for an interview. I had one interview and they seemed to like me, but I pulled out cause I didn't like the sound of the job at all. Haven't had an interview since lol but it would've been soul crushing to do that job. I just don't want to be the waitress who's always dropping things to the applause and laughter of the customers XD x
