I put a sock on to cover up the wound, but I forgot it was an old moist sock. When I took the sock off, I discovered that the exposed blood had gone all lumpy and a little bit dry, with my finger I could move it around and there was a fresh layer of liquid underneath.

Also, underneath the skin on the "lips" of the wound, there's large soft bubbles that have grown. I try to squeeze them, but all that happens is a clear liquid runs out of the skin, and they don't pop. It also makes a horrendous stench.
