Yeah, but that's arguably what makes Cave shmups what they are. A lot of shmup enthusiasts (at the Shmups forum at least) don't like Touhou because 1) they're too 'manly' to play games with magical girls and 2) they find Touhou shmups to be far too easy. Normally I'd disagree, but these are guys who can 1CC the second loop and True Last Boss of DoDonPachi.

Now I'll also agree with you because Touhou is smurfing amazing and I love every aspect of it, and I'd probably play them over any other shmup.

Touhou has nice patterns, music, and characters The levels in Mushihime seemed boring since everything seemed to be directed at you rather than looking good, making the weaving too repetitive

You've been stuck on Touhou for too long then. Touhou shmups are great, but Cave shmups are just as good. I'm still importing it as soon as I can.

I know, I have all of the IOSYS Touhou albums and I listen to them all of the time. I'm just saying I've never seen a picture of neko miko Reimu. From EoSD on, she's always waki miko Reimu. :P

Well, I've never seen a picture of neko-Reimu, so I'm assuming the song is about her being an actual cat girl-- I mean, if she wasn't wouldn't it say 'Nekomimi-miko Reimu~', etc?

And neko-miko aside, the other two aren't real catgirls.
