Oh man, well, that's a relief. I'd at least like to play it once in my lifetime. xD

So...how are you enjoying FFXII?

I think the price is going down. I love the tweaks they made to Disgaea 2's system, but story and character-wise, Disgaea 1 wins hands down.

I've read a little over 40 chapters of Death Note now and O EM GEE Light is hot! it's awesome! I love it. xD The manga is pretty long though. I want to see the live action movie really bad now. They're talking about remaking it into english. =O I'm waiting until the anime is farther along to start it. xD [/no straight line of thought]

But yeah, I blame you for turning me into a Death Note fan! =D

As for Disgaea, I liked the first one more, but yeah the battle system is pretty much the same. It's not that hard to track it down, it's just really expensive. xD

It was essentially refined. The basic gameplay is the same, but some of the moves were changed and some weapons (like the spear and the bow) were made useful. The gun was nerfed too, it used to have better range than the bow but shoot just like the bow, on TOP of being stronger than the bow on average and having WAY better attacks than the bow.

Essentially, things were balanced and the graphics got a bit of a facelift. Then certain things like the tower attack and treasure chests were added.

Disgaea 1 is a great game, far better in terms of storyline and characters than Disgaea 2, but going back to it may irritate one who's started on Disgaea 2. It's essentially the same gameplay though.
