Were there alot of changes in the battle systems between Disgaea 1 and 2? I don't really feel like hunting down the first one any time in the near future. ;_;
Sexy Beam is especially nice in Disgaea 2 because it hits twice, and is thus useful. Same with Prinny Raid hitting multiple times. Both of those attacks suck in Disgaea 1.

Oh my yes. And the art in the anime itself is simply top-notch. I also love Light's pencil flourishes, they amuse me.
