My parents never would have let me even if I wanted to anyways. I don't think I'm going to be able to get a stupid job, though. Not until after I get back from Sweden. And even then...I will have to wait awhile until I could. :angry:

Oh, that makes sense. It would be useless quitting high school for a job like that, but you probably already knew this was true.

I don't THINK so. I don't think I would have had to work weekends. I think that was the good thing about it. I just would have had to quit high school.

If the hours were wrong the way I think they’re wrong, that would have been horrible.

Kids never do anything remarkable. Ugh. The other day I almost got a job at a daycare. That was kind of scary. My friend called me up, cause she works there, and the lady she works for needs another person to watch her kids. I was going to do it too, but the hours were all wrong. I think I'm relieved.

Many mothers are (of their children, not me)(!)

She must have been very proud.
