I noticed a thread about it in the lounge. I’ve opened the thread a couple of times, but that was only on a wild clicking spree—I would just see the thread and think “What am I doing here?” & then go somewhere else.

Generally people start to go away from their favorite band because they “thrash” the music and get sick of it. You, however, seem to be cursed by some homeland insecurities. I don’t know how you could cure it completely, but perhaps you could try and subdue the feelings—try just saying smurf it, if you think you are too obsessed? What’s “too obsessed,” anyway?

I think I start thinking "oh I'm getting too obsessed" so I force myself to listen to other stuff and then when I try to come back to it I am not obsessed with it at all. So I guess that would...be a success. ^o)

You poor soul. Do you know where you went wrong with the other bands? Perhaps you could identify the problem, & avoid it.
