What did you do when you found out Kurt Cobain was dead?

My first time actually seeing a Nirvana anything was way back ages ago like... I was in the laundry or something, and Nevermind was on the floor and I was really quite intrigued by it because of the baby and his penis. I can’t remember how old I was but it was before my first sister was born. I didn’t even know back then. I mean, I got a weird feeling, but that was probably from the penis.

Then when I was about 8 I was going to a friend’s birthday and we hadn’t bought him a present so my dad just gave me one of my mum’s albums to give to my friend. It was In Utero LOL but we didn’t listen to it.

Then a while later I was at my uncle’s house and he was sleeping and I saw Nevermind and In Utero on his CD rack and I just stole them for some reason.

The first thing I saw on this page is Resha and the last is still Resha.

Haha, no no no. We never really talked, him and I. My mom showed me Nirvana. She had a tape! I think she shoewd me them when I was like, I dunno, 9 or 10. Nevermind. But I never went out and searched for more until a couple years ago. And never actually bought their cds until last year! I remember not liking In Utero at all the first time I previewed it on amazon.com.

Mmm....probably as soon as I came here. Jeremy introduced me to them. To a lot of music, actually.

How long after that before you sought more?

haha. My first encounter was at Round Table Pizza. They had those little vending machine stickers, you know? Tool was one of them! My brother bought it even though none of us knew what they were.

My first encounter with Tool was when I was about 12 years old, and a boy was wearing a Tool shirt in assembly. I stared at it for ages trying to figure it out.
My second encounter wouldn’t be for several more years, when a girl mentioned it in my user notes.
