I would guess that pip would know more about it than me. Indeed, downloading music can lead to years of confusion (there are people that still think Nirvana covered the twist and/or other twist related songs).

:o Oh...I did have a Ramones song on my computer. Maybe it was you who'd sent it me as opposed to Curtis. It actually makes sense now. What Curtis sent me lots of was The Libertines, and I always get them and them Ramones mixed up. The Sex Pistols =] Apparently they've never ever covered "Brown-Eyed Girl" (according to PiP) and the version I had; I have no idea who it was by.
