You could always...GALVANISE it. Or. Or "sacrificial protection". (I had to look that last one up in me ol' Chemistry book ;D)

Could render it susceptible to rust. Not that I am a scientist! Or a gynecologist.

You should use a boat and keep the said "Ding-A-Ling" dry. It might shrink or something in water.

I have an Achilles’ Ding-a-ling. It’s difficult to keep it safe while I swim the snapper-infested waters to get to my 9-to-5.
