I think I saw one while I was in Australia a couple of years ago. If not then it was something similar. Its web was like between these two fence posts and wow I had never seen a spider that big before I thought I was going to not survive to see the end of the day.

Yeah they're really smurfing nasty. I've never seen one in real life I don't think but apparently they are HERE. Ugh.

I looked a picture of one up on google and I seriously doubt it. They look more like some sort of tropical spider than for here

I don't think they actually killed birds. I just didn’t know how to respond.
