Generally the more important something is the less likely it will work. Nerds will tell you it is either yes or no but really computers are evil.

That does seem like it could be the problem. And yeah really I wasn't really expecting you to be able to suggest anything at all just took a shot in the dark there. You get to deal with all this cause no one else knows anything at all

My only guess is that the CD has been written at a speed too high for your reader, or your drive is upset at you or something. I don't know much about this sort of thing. But you're welcome.

I know it's CD-R. And yeah. Sorry. I'm kinda...not really providing a whole lot of information. Thanks a lot, either way. :)

Do you know if the CD is CD-R or CD-RW? Though I don't think that would be the problem.

I suppose you don't know what speed the CD was written at. Do you know the read speeds of your CD drive?

I've never worked with PDF before this.

I just don't know how to open up the contents of the cd with exploror. :aimblush: Cause like...the computer won't recognize that there's even a cd in there - it keeps saying that "put a cd in the drive" thing. Okay yeah I tried opening it in explorer and that's what it said. I know the cd works on someone else's computer, though.

Hmm. Can you open up the contents of the CD using explorer? It could be a problem with the drive or the CD.
