Not a scholar, but I was pretty into it. That's why all those movies and television series piss me off. They're not even retelling the story. It's almost like they turned up on the last day of pitching and flicked through the stories. I guess you could argue "It's Hercules, and not Heracles! They can tell the story how they want!"
