I have to do that with my cat sometimes. He readies himself to jump like 10 times and then starts cleaning himself. STOP PUTTING IT OFF I yell and then I kick him over a goal post. That kicking part was a lie.

Whoa there. That's cause your cat's still got some life in him! My cat's so old and lazy she'd never jump directly on me anymore. She's so hesitant. When she wants to jump up on the bed, or chair, or wherever I am, she'll sit there looking at it for a minute or two, scouting it out, then ready herself for the jump. And most of the time she will chicken out and I'll have to bring her up myself.

Does she ever like.. hurt you? The other day I was lying down and my cat jumped on me and knocked the wind right out of my body.

I am probably 10 times bigger than she is. At least 10 times her weight.

I guess it's because you're not bigger than her or something?

They're so cute like that. My cat seems to like it when I'm down there with her too. Her eyes get all big and she talks a lot.

Meet Pupette.

YEAH. He hates it. He loves it when I get down to his level and rub my head against his. I think he loves it... he gets so smurfing excited he sometimes falls over.

Chops. Oh chops. Do you ever actually give your cat a hug? I do, but she doesn't like it. Fun for me though.

One time my cat pounced at me and then he sat on his ass with his body upright and spread his arms out. He done that for ages until I asked him if he wanted a hug. He got back on all fours and walked away doing the "nup-nuppety" thing with his chops.
