Perhaps that should be suggested to him. Although maybe that's too stressful for I don't know argh.

Something he could try is recording the guitar only, and then record himself singing. Then he would have the voice and the guitar on separate tracks. Not that I approve of this method, but if you get your timing right it is more flexible than one smurfing microphone.

It is, but he's recording on one microphone. When you record directly on one microphone like that you always get it sounding bad.

I think it's really good, but he still needs to be louder. LOUDER. His voice. I want it louder.
