I guess one would have more control when it is not one’s own hair. Plus, if it gets messed up, it’s not them who has to wear it! :chuckle:

The heck? I have cut my mom's hair lots of times...although yeah. I suppose it would be a lot different when doing it on yourself. Never done that. Never.

Doing it myself is worse. I cut one thing that looks like it needs cutting, and then it has a totally different effect. I’m like WHAT.

That's no better than doing it yourself, then.

That’s all that matters, when it comes to haircuts. Well, other stuff too, like no serious injuries, but whatever.
I am rarely pleased with my haircuts, but it’s usually my fault; poor explanation of what I want, not understanding what the hairdresser is saying but saying yes anyway, and so on.

Yes! First time I've had a haircut in like smurfing forever. So it was nice to do something a little bit different and I am happy. :)
