5 is always your index finger
6 is always your middle fingure
7 is always your ring finger
8 is always your pinky

you need to keep all kingers pressing down unless you are moving the finger
you play in alternating strokes (down, up, down, up etc)
if you break a picking or fretting rule then you need to start over otherwise you will never learn anything
if you already know this technique under a different name then you can go to hell

OH and once you hit the bottom you can go back up again and then down again
