More like respect.
Does it make you proud of her?
YEah, it is. Hmm.. both of my grandmothers have had problems with drunks, but only one of them has a problem with alcohol now. I have seen the other one drink wine from time to time, but not once in my 20 years have I seen her actually drunk! This is surprising to me, for some reason.
I can just imagine how that kind of stuff could put you off it. Is that the bad grandmother? I would assume so
My mother’s mother, too. Heavy winealism going on. Even when there is nothing to celebrate. One particular... episode, with my grandmother, is something that has made me reluctant to drink. It was nothing violent, in fact she was even praising me, but the way she behaved made me sick.
Mm...she'll definitely havesome when we're out at a restaurant, and it's fairly common for herto buy some at the grocery store, but it's not all the time or anything.
Does your mother drink a lot of wine and stuff? Mine does. And she used to always make me drink it with her. Ugh.
There was no change, and I put a lot in. Whatever. I thought I would give it a second chance, and now I know there's no hope for it.
It probably would have just made it worse! Like pouring salt in the wound.
Yeah, apple juice didn't help at all.
