Calypso?

I never remember. It was boring, really boring. Last night especially so, but I fixed that by watching Apocalypto which was over 2 hours long.

How was your week?

Maybe he didn't notice because everything was so obviously GREAT that he figured he could forget the details. But it's not like it really matters why. :laugh: Maybe he's so fond of the cuisine!

A mixture of good and bad. Two new managers started this week, which was stressful for me (getting used to new people and such). And, as usual, whenever a new manager starts, the days just seems to fall to pieces (other crew calling in sick, other manager’s car breaking down, strange lunch rush that lasts all day and so on). In addition to that, we had to spend the whole week cleaning every inch of the place because the state area manager (his name is Mario, of all things) was coming in on Friday. Of course everyone was scared and working their guts out to get the place clean (it’s usually filthy... I guess we’re lucky no health inspectors came in). I never really understood why people got scared when Mario was coming in though, because to me, he always seemed way more laid back than Anne Marie. But whatever. So anyway, he comes and looks around with his checkboard and this ’n’ that, and he leaves and calls Anne Marie and says that the place is SPECTACULAR. So we celebrate and so on for a job well done. Anyway, after he’s gone, I go to grab some burger buns only to find that the whole TOP RACK (plain in view) expired yesterday (something Anne Marie would go nuts about). He didn’t even notice!

Also, I got to finish early on wednesday to go to doctor. Nothing wrong with me, but working 4 hours less made the rest of week go much faster. 8-)
