Oh my god. Well, he has plenty of time to realize that he should get rid of it. It must be horrible getting a tattoo removed when your skin is wrinkled, or starting to wrinkle.

If I had cared more about it, I would have punched him in the tattoo (which was still fresh)

It's so....someone is "badass" enough to get a tattoo, but big enough of a nerd to get a Gimli one. It doesn't make sense to me. :(
