What I really meant is that you are resourceful and clever, not dull or barbaric like he meant.

Not on napkins per se, but there have been a few makeshift writing tablets in my time.

Do you ever write that stuff down on like...napkins? Will you do anything to not forget it? ;D

At least, with me, the idea of a story seems to stay for years. So even if I can’t start it one day, I am confident that it will still be in my head a few years down. This is different with songs, which seem to really be a spontaneous, spur of the moment thing, which if I don’t write down instantly, I lose forever.

Yeah, there's no getting out of it once you're that far along. Which is comforting.

I know what you mean. It has made me give up so many times! I guess an ending is better than the beginning, because when I have an a beginning and a middle, it’s so much harder to drop the idea than if I just have a few :skull::skull::skull::skull:ty lines of a beginning.
