Changing the beginning changes like...the whole feel of the thing sometimes. Well, most of the time, really. For me anyways. If I can't give the beginning exactly the right tone, the rest of the thing is smurfed and I can't move on. Cause I will be writing from that ty beginning, so the rest of it is and oh man.

They are both just as difficult. I remember explaining this to someone a year or two ago, how I can find the center so easy I can go on for such a long time (though it’s probably not interesting) but just... finding that ending can be so painful. Especially since an ending does a lot of the job. I guess you can just cut it off, but that’s always disappointing, I think.
And getting started is hard. I might write a few words and then be like smurf THIS, START AGAIN. But for a long time. I might be stuck on a starting for weeks.

Is it harder starting or ending, for you?

It seems to become increasingly less difficult once I have chiseled out the first few lines.

If only you could infuse the Word document with images. Sometimes I feel like the only way to get it across is by showing.

I have a lot of trouble converting what’s in my head to a more conventional format. I still get angry after walking home with all these ideas in my head, and then sitting in front of a blank Word document for hours. BAH.

It's frustrating to have all this in your head and not being able to put it down exactly as you want it. I've seriously considered thoroughly studying my thesaurus...damnit.
