Having your back to them while you talk to someone else is also good. But you have to be careful not to talk too loud... they might pick up on something that interests them, and they only need one excuse.
That being said, if you talk too quietly, they will come up and say... I don’t know, one of those OH YOU ARE MYSTERIES or something.

Avoid eye contact, turn away, etc I have done it many times.

The best thing to do with people like that would try to make myself unnoticeable.

But never to you.

These two girls at my school used to walk around and do this horrible croaky thing. I think someone laughed at it, and then they started using it all the time. It wouldn’t have been so bad if one of the girls wasn’t my friends sister, and therefore didn’t have a reason to approach and talk near me.

Naturally.

And if it’s really annoying, I suppose.

When people do it...constantly. But then, too much of anything would be bad. :-\ So that means nothing!

Eh, it’s not like this stuff is anything major. At least, I don’t think so.

That's a relief...although slightly hypocritical on my part.
