He took off 400 pages! And I can see why. He goes on about such stupid stuff in the beginning. It takes smurfing forever to get started. But he said himself that releasing it all uncut he's just indulging himself.

I'd agree with that NOW. At first I just thought it was blah and unnecessarily long. I still think the latter is true, but it's actually really smurfing good. Not as epic as the dark tower though probably. But duh
