I have no idea of the exact distance, but I think it took about.. half an hour to get there. Could be more, could be less. It wasn’t as far away as my other grandmother, though, who was about 3 hours away.

Having it torn down must be pretty bad. My grandparents’ old house wasn’t torn down, but it was massively redecorated... oh man, talking about it makes so many memories come back.

I know how that feels. I mean, I didn't GROW UP in my grandparents house, but I was there plenty and it was such a beautiful house and *memories* and stuff so it was depressing when my grandmum sold it. Especially cause the people that bought it tore it down. Bah.

Nah. Though I liked it as a child, it wasn’t really that important to me. I was much more depressed by the fact that they were moving. Though they were moving right on the same land as my father (since they helped him pay for it many years earlier), I was still sad because I liked the house & pretty much had grown up in it. :(

Would you have bought it off them if they had offered?

My grandparents had a couch like that. I used to like sleeping on it, because it was one of the most comfortable beds in the house. Unfortunately, I could only use it when every other bed was being used, and they had a lot of beds. Not so much anymore, but they also don’t have that couch anymore either.

Yes. It's uncomfortable and ugly and scratchy and it opens up to a bed and that's so rednecky.

Do you hate it or something?

Kind of. Since my parents are gone this weekend she decided to sleep downstairs and she's on the couch right next to my room. That ugly one in the pictures.
