Ability question.

i have been playin this game for a while since it first came out. but i have always wondered, how has the ability thing work? like when does a character get another ability point? how does that work.

errrm... yar thats a hard one :confused: no but seriously you gain X amount of AP by defeating enemies... You see how much you earn on the same screen where it shows you how much EXP you earn. Have a look... i swear its there

If Shin answered the wrong question and you meant Magic Stones, the things that allow to equip abilities, then you get them when you level up.

AP? It's pretty much one or two per win. Though bosses and special battles can give large amounts of AP (like 20). Provided you have equiped stuff with unlearnt abilities, the AP goes on each ability.

EDIT: Though you might be talking about magic stones, in which case level up like Endless. suggests :p

well i guess i ment magic stones? but i mean this for example.zidane has like 1/29 abilities now. how does the 29 go up? is it the magic stones?

EDIT: and what i just noticed. can i not use counter and auto-potion at the same time?

1/29 means you've equipped 28 stones worth of abilities. The total number will increase as you level up. For Zidane, the maximum is 72. You can use Auto-Potion and Counter at the same time, but only if you have enough spare Magic Stones. Unequip something else to free up space.

i know that i do have them both on. when ever i get physical attacked it just auto pots.

Counter only works 25% of the time. Equip Eye 4 Eye to increase the chance to 75%.

Y ou get them when you level up i think...
