O..K. so the game isn't out yet in England but in my favourite game shop (where they are doign some serious pre-orders) I was talking to one of the guys about the latest rumour that square enix have sold the final fantasy right to the X-box in time for FFXIII, he said he had heard it to then he told me what was more annoying which might clinch the deal is that Sony are having it so that the first half of FFXII is released on the PS2 and that the second half will be released on the PS3.

If this is true then why would they do this?!

FFXIII is in production for the PS3. If there were any radical changes to the Final Fantasy series, such as which system the games will be produced for, you can be absolutely sure that it would be all over the internet and, in particular, this forum.

Seriously, the guy at this game store is either a complete idiot, or he just wanted to mess with your head.

No need to flame me I was just asking and I know the title could probably be different but hey there's still no need to flame, and I've heard several people say it before me but only I have the guys to post it to find out if it is true as I know most companies that use to sell to Sony have sold to the X-box such as Capcom, I mean i saw one of the game adverts and there was no PS2/ PS3 game there so if you're going to flame me then sod off.

My suggestion is to always check with Wikipedia. Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Fantasy_XIII The users will maintain the page up to date and false rumors will immediately be deleted unless reliable sources are provided.
