Square Enix has delved much lower when it comes to people dieing in there stuff.
take Drakengard for example (SPOILER)The main characters can sometimes dies multiple times o.o in diffarant and traumatically gory ways
yeah... someone else should have lived...
I think the daeth count was necessary to get the point across. However, they failed to inject any emotion into the scenes (with th eexception of one).
