steel pipes?

hey,

im trying to get doomtrain and im having a problem getting steel pipes of all things, as you may know i need 6 of them, and according to some websites you get them from mugging/defeating wendigo's which are near galabadia garden, or where it used to be, only problem is they seem to be a pretty rare fight here and ive been looking for an hour now and cant find them...

any other way to get steel pipes?

also, do i need the occult fan III or whichever edition it is that tells you about the solomon ring to actually summon doomtrain? if so where is it?

The Wendigo's are in the forest near where Galbadia used to be. It's that forest between the cliffs where you fell asleep once and turned into Laguna.

When you fight them, they will drop steel pipes for you(forgot what level they need to be though), or just simply mug it off them.

Every time I need steel pipes I head to the brick coloured patches near the Tomb of the unknown king on the Galbadia continent. In my experiences I'll always run into some sooner or later (but be careful since they are fast in attacking and are quite strong). Also try refining Elastoid cards

The forest south of dollet has wendigo's
(east of the forest seems to have wendigo's more commonly, might just be me xD) I was lv 60 and mugged them for steel pipes they attack twice (dribble/shoot) which did about 1000 damage in total..

I found i got plenty from refining Eastoid card's.
