I find my self watching this channel a ton, I think its because I like to cook...But still, I don't know...Well to the topic of this thread! Do you watch food network? And if you do, what is your fav. show? Mines Rachel Ray's Tasty Travels, and Iron Chef America.
I watch it fairly often, actually. I love the Food Network Challenges, especially the ones where they make the sugar sculptures. The one coming up this Sunday looks pretty neat, with all the fruit carvings and whatnot.
I also like $40 A Day, Iron Chef America, and Unwrapped. I don't really watch many of the actual cooking shows too often, though.

Alton Brown is my favorite and I love Good Eats & Feasting on Asphalt.
I like Rachel Ray's shows but I think Rachel Ray herself is very annoying. I hate how she takes tiny little bites of food and then goes YUM-OH!! It's so irritating. But I like the food she cooks and eats on 30 minute meals and $40 a Day.
Iron Chef is of course a favorite. Mario Batali is love!
Emeril is horrible. I think he's the only person on foodnetwork who burns his food and then goes, "look at that! doesn't it look great?!" And it's like, uuhhh, no. It looks nasty, dude.
Barefoot Contessa is growing on me. I didn't like her before, but her style of cooking is starting to appeal to me.
I love Paula Dean, and her food looks great, but I wouldn't actually cook a lot of her recipes. They usually ask for like 10 pounds of butter and oil.
Bobby Flay is an asshole.
Did I mention that Alton Brown rules? He is the King of Foodnetwork.
Bobby Flay rules Iron Chef America. Oh, I love Alton Browns shows too. They're the Best!
Aside from the staggering dicketry of Bobby Flay and my constant urge to hit Rachael Ray in the face with a shovel, I like the Food Network.
My thoughts are exactly the same as Miriel's on the network's lineup. Except there was no mention of how awesome Marc Summers is.
GOD I CANNOT STAND BOBBY FLAY.
Alton is hilarious, and Paula Dean is love. Rachael Ray can be a tad irritating at times. I can't stand the fact that on almost every show she's all like "My dad's from Louisiana..." but yet she cannot properly pronounce "pecan" and a few other cajun words. Being that I was born and raised in LA, I feel that her dad must blush in shame every time she does something like that. >_>
I also like Giada's shows, but does it bother anyone else the way she always talks with every single tooth showing? She makes my jaws hurt!
EDIT: I cannot believe I forgot Ace of Cakes. That is an awesome show!
OH! I forgot Emeril, He's the best there. By far. Him and Alton Brown are up there.
I used to watch this network obsessively around two years ago.
And it was a wondrous affair when Iron Chef would show directly before Futurama and Cowboy Bebop.
Since I no longer watch television, I don't watch this network. And from the little bits I have seen of it, it seems that the shows I once watched are now canceled...
