But once someone looks at it and does not post, doesn't that make your dream impossible? Especially if the views count lurkers and such too.

I've just thought of a great way to read posts in this thread without actually viewing the thread.
First you click the number of replies while looking at GC, to show who posted in the thread. Then you go onto their profile and view all posts by that member.
