Item uses
The Chronicles version is fustrating that it doesn't tell you what 60% of it's items do. I was lucky enough to play other FF games before it to know what Starveil does. All I want to know are the functions of these items and a few more that I have might've missed
because i don't want to end up doing something stupid like using a very powerful item at a foolish time.
Ag Apple
Hermes (My guess is that it casts haste since hermes was the messenger of the gods and he was said to be light footed)
Vampire
Bachuus
Hrglass1
Hrglass2
Somadrop( The game just says Mystic wine)
-
I'll take the liberty to use more 'proper' names.
Ag Apple
Silver Apple--permanently raises HP slightly (by 50 I think)
Hermes (My guess is that it casts haste since hermes was the messenger of the gods and he was said to be light footed)
Yup, casts Haste in battle.
Vampire
Casts drain in battle.
Bachuus
Casts berserk in battle.
Hrglass1
Copper Hourglass-casts slow on all enemies.
Hrglass2
Gold Hourglass-casts stop on all enemies.
Somadrop( The game just says Mystic wine)
Permanently raises MP (I think)
-
abrojtm is right. The Silver Apple raises HP permanently by 50 while the Soma Drops raises MP permanently by 10. Also the Hrglass2's stop effect last longer than Hrglass1's.

Notus, Illusion,Stardust, Moonveil, Silk Web Au Apple?
-
Notus casts Blizzard(blizzara? can't remember) on all of the enemies.
Illusion casts Image on the user.
Stardust attacks all of the enemies with an attack similar to that of Twin Meteor
Moonveil casts Reflect on the user.
Au Apple raises max HP by 100.
