Speculation on the G-man (Half-life)

G = Gorden

man = freeman

maybe its Gorden from the future, and he's trying to help him self?

thoughts?

I just think he's probably a machine, the way he talks.

I think that Valve really didn't have a proper storyline planned out for the original Half-Life and any explanation they pull out of their ass for the G-Man will suck.

I'm sticking to some form of an omnipotent being with the way he's always manipulating events and appearing and disappearing like he always seems to do.
